Born in Piacenza, 1980., He lives and works in Milan. Italian experimental animator and director Rino Stefano Tagliaerro gratuated from ISIA in Urbino and from IED – European Institute of Design in Milan.
Everything he does is designed to respond to the inducements he receives from the outside. He absorbs and metabolizes anything that catches him attention and, after reworked the fact, he proposes it again in a completely new often absurd and surreal way. He loves to create situations, as if they were memories suspended in our mind that can be revived only within the video itself.
His films have been included in the programmes of the Bug Festival at the NFT in London, Cracow Film Festival, Sonar, Festival del Cinema di Venezia, Resfest, Annecy, ESMI Awards at FIC - Buenos Aires, Animanima, among others. Rino has made music videos for several bands including Four Tet, M+A, Mobbing, Digitalism, Cansei Der Ser Sexy, Eva, Fabri Fibra, Big Fish, Vittorio Cosma. Among his major commercial collaborations: Lancia, BMW, Adidas, Antonio Marras, Kenzo.
